What to Expect When You Sign Up

The signup process at Credlocity is straightforward and transparent. Here is exactly what happens at each step, so you know what to expect before you begin:

Step 1: Complete the intake form. The form collects the information your consultant needs to access and review your credit reports. This includes your full legal name, current mailing address, date of birth, Social Security number (encrypted immediately upon entry using AES-256-GCM encryption), credit monitoring account login (encrypted for secure storage), employment information, and your primary credit repair goals. All information is collected solely for the purpose of performing credit repair services on your behalf.

Step 2: Receive your CROA disclosures. Before any work begins and before any payment information is collected, you will receive two required documents: (1) a written service agreement that describes in detail every service to be performed, the total cost, the payment schedule, and your cancellation rights; and (2) a Consumer Credit File Rights disclosure as required by CROA Section 1679c. This disclosure explains your existing legal rights under the FCRA to dispute inaccurate information at no cost directly with the bureaus. You are signing up for professional service, but your existing rights must be disclosed and acknowledged first.

Step 3: Exercise your 3-day right of cancellation. After signing the service agreement, you have three full business days to cancel without any penalty or obligation. This right is guaranteed by CROA (15 U.S.C. Section 1679d) and cannot be waived. If you cancel within three days, no work is performed and no charge is ever collected.

Step 4: Your consultant begins work. If you do not cancel within three days, your FCRA-certified consultant begins the credit audit process - reviewing your three bureau reports, identifying every disputable item, developing the dispute strategy for each item, and preparing the first round of custom dispute letters. This work is performed during the 30-day free trial period. No payment is collected until 30 days of completed service have passed.

Information We Collect and Why

Credlocity collects only the information necessary to perform credit repair services on your behalf. Every piece of information collected has a specific, documented purpose:

Full legal name and address. Required by credit bureaus to match your identity to your credit file and to receive certified mail responses. Dispute letters must include your full legal name and current address exactly as they appear on your credit report.

Social Security number. Required by credit bureaus to verify your identity when accessing your credit file. SSNs are encrypted using AES-256-GCM immediately upon entry and are never stored in plaintext. They are never displayed in any dashboard or report and are never transmitted in unencrypted form.

Credit monitoring account login. Required to access your current credit reports from Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion. Credentials are encrypted using AES-256-GCM and stored securely. They are used solely to access your credit reports on your behalf and are never shared with any third party.

Employment information. Used to document income stability for credit rebuild strategy and for context on certain types of disputes. Not used for any credit application on your behalf without your explicit consent.

Credit repair goals. Collected so your consultant understands whether you are working toward a specific objective - mortgage qualification, car loan, apartment rental, business credit - and can prioritize the dispute strategy accordingly.

Your First 30 Days Are Free - No Upfront Fees

The Credit Repair Organizations Act (CROA, 15 U.S.C. Section 1679b) is explicit: no credit repair organization may charge fees before services are performed. Credlocity's 30-day free trial is a direct compliance with this requirement, not a promotional offer that can be revoked. During the first 30 days of service, your consultant reviews your reports, develops the dispute strategy, prepares custom dispute letters citing specific FCRA provisions, and sends them via certified mail. All of this work is performed before any payment is collected.

After 30 days of completed work, you choose whether to continue. If you continue, billing begins at the rate of your selected plan: $99.95 per month for the Fraud Intervention Plan, $179.95 per month for the Aggressive Repair Plan, or $279.95 per month for the Family Plan (two household members). If you choose not to continue, you owe nothing. The dispute letters already sent remain in effect and the bureaus must respond within 30 days of receipt regardless of whether you continue with Credlocity.

Your Consumer Rights Under CROA

The Consumer Credit File Rights disclosure you receive before signing up explains rights that every American consumer already has under federal law. You have the right to: (1) dispute any inaccurate, incomplete, or unverifiable information on your credit report directly with the credit bureaus at no cost; (2) have inaccurate information corrected or deleted after a proper reinvestigation; (3) add a consumer statement of up to 100 words to your credit file explaining your position on any disputed item; and (4) obtain a free copy of your credit reports from AnnualCreditReport.com once per year from each bureau.

Credlocity is required by CROA to inform you of these rights before you sign up. We disclose them fully and without equivocation. You can choose to exercise these rights yourself at no cost. If you choose professional credit repair, Credlocity applies 17 years of FCRA expertise, FCRA-certified practitioners, and a full escalation process - including litigation capability - to the same dispute rights that every consumer possesses. The difference is in the legal depth and escalation capability that 17 years of practice provides.

Take the First Step Today

Your credit report affects your ability to rent an apartment, qualify for a mortgage, obtain a car loan, get approved for business credit, and in some states, get hired for certain jobs. Every month that negative items remain on your report unchallenged is a month of financial opportunity lost. The FCRA gives you the right to challenge every inaccurate, unverifiable, or outdated negative item - and Credlocity has 17 years of experience exercising those rights on behalf of clients just like you.

Joeziel Vazquez founded Credlocity after being personally defrauded by the largest name in credit repair. Every policy at this firm - transparent pricing, CROA compliance, FCRA-certified practitioners, certified mail disputes, documented escalation processes - was built by someone who knows exactly what it feels like to need credit repair and be failed by the company you trusted. That founding experience is the reason Credlocity exists and the reason 79,000+ clients have trusted us since 2008.

Complete the intake form now to start your free 30-day trial. No upfront fees. No long-term contracts. Just FCRA-certified practitioners doing the legal work that gets results. Also review our plans and pricing page to understand your options after the trial period.
